Dear Colleagues
Following the successful ISE2025 Conference on the island of Kefalonia, Greece, we are now announcing the next ISE Annual Conference, entitled "The 29th International Conference on Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology: An Expert Forum on Innovation in Integrated Diagnostics and New Technologies." The conference will take place in Astypalaia, "the Aegean Butterfly," one of Greece’s most beautiful islands and truly one of the most picturesque destinations in the world.
As always, the guiding principles of this conference are to showcase top-tier science related to all aspects of laboratory medicine, in a stunning location, with a limited number of participants. The ISE2026 conference will cover a wide range of themes, including but not limited to: new technologies, integrated diagnostics, AI, novel biomarkers for cancer and other diseases, informatics, automation, genomics, proteomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, other omics, enzymes in health and disease, theranostics, microRNAs, long non-coding RNAs, quality assurance, patient safety, and harmonization. Presentations on specific diseases are also welcome.
As in previous years, the meeting will be restricted to a maximum of 40 registrants, on a first-come, first-served basis. All participants will be responsible for their own expenses and will be invited to present on a topic of their choice, if time permits. The meeting expenses will be covered by the registration fees. Spouses and other family members are also welcome to attend.
We encourage you to take time to visit the stunning sights of the island and its surroundings, including its many beautiful beaches and villages. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore other nearby Greek islands, including the famous Santorini and Kos. You may also wish to combine your trip with a stop in Athens.
We look forward to welcoming you, your colleagues, and your families to what promises to be an exciting scientific meeting and an overall enjoyable experience.
With best wishes
Sincerely,
